Just west of Mullen, Nebraska, lies a thin, oil-strip road. Up that Whitman road, acres of pasture roll over hills strewn with cattle. The Angus ranch I spent 18 years of my life on taught me foundational skills in life. Integrity, hard work and a whole lot of faith have carried me through the last decade of my career, leading me to PR and strategic communications consulting and services.

I have almost six years of experience in public relations, strategic communications and stakeholder engagement within the Department of Defense and now as a freelancer. Starting my career in the Air Force, I served four years as a Public Affairs Officer, balancing leadership with meeting executive communication goals for the base.

Afterward, I fine-tuned my skills at a marketing agency that specializes in agriculture and then continued my journey independently as a freelancer.
